A healthy & gluten-free twist on an age-old East African Snack or Dessert made with Shredded Coconut and Figs.

Using a food processor, process dried figs into very fine chunks. The finer the result, the stickier the figs will be.

In a mixing bowl, add the shredded coconut, honey, melted butter, date syrup, coconut milk and coconut oil to the chopped figs and mix thoroughly.

Shape into balls, and refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.
