Soak the dried figs in a bowl of warm water for 10 minutes to re-hydrate.

Combine all the ingredients (except the coconut flakes) in a food processor and process till mixture is thoroughly combined.

Shape the mixture into balls approximately 1 inch to 1.5 inches in diameter. Place the desiccated coconut flakes on a flat dish and roll the oat and date balls in the coconut flakes until they are well coated.

Place in refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving.
